Oneka Pet Resort is owned and operated by Nick and Jen Beane. Nick and Jen reside in Wyoming with their 4-legged children Gus and Roxie. (A yellow lab mix and GSP)

In 2008, the Beanes were young, recent college graduates who found they didn’t much like what they had specialized in. Nick working in the printing industry with an airplane mechanics degree and Jen with a Social Work background, decided it was time for a change. The couple researched kennel ownership, even looking into a franchise. They toured a number of facilities in Minnesota and also flew out to Colorado for more information on franchises. Shortly after returning from their trip to Colorado, Nick and Jen learned that a franchise was not going to be the best fit for them but instead found out that the facility they were boarding Gus and Roxie at during this very stay, was for sale. It was a very quick process and within 2 months, the Beanes owned Oneka Pet Resort.

Oneka Pet Resort’s goal is to provide a safe, fun, and healthy environment for your pets while you are away. We want to make sure you and your pet are both having stress free vacations and that we will treat your pets as if they were our own. We appreciate all of our customers, their words of encouragement and thanks, and all the referrals they have given us over the last 3 years. Without you all, we wouldn’t be where we are today. The last 3 years have been the best 3 years ever and for that, we thank you.
